First Years Committee

The First Year Committee is supervised by the Vice-chairman of the Board and supervises, among other things, the A-time of Aspirant members. This committee also plays an important role in the process of the year club formation. During the first six months after a new 'lichting' has been inaugurated, activities are organized to stimulate the formation of a year club. During the year club evenings on Mondays they organize various activities. An example of this is the Baby boom, an event where senior and freshmen get to know each other in a playful way. During the Baby boom you will be admitted to a new "family", consisting of parents (senior members) and a lot of brothers and sisters (a number of fellow freshmen). The members of the first year committee also supervise the organization of the year club bar evenings and they are present at year club chairmen's meetings.
