We, as Student Association Amphitryon, are shocked by the news reports. We have provided our full cooperation with the investigation conducted by the Hotel Management School Maastricht (HMSM).
The HMSM has determined that, despite our careful preparations, the preventive measures taken, the aftercare provided, and the presence of first aid and security throughout the entire introduction, unfortunate incidents have still occurred.
In collaboration with the HMSM, we will engage in discussions to change the introduction program into one that continues to promote group bonding while emphasizing team building and respectful challenges.
In consultation with the HMSM, we have decided to suspend all activities related to the introduction of Student Association Amphitryon until this new program is ready.
